The US Open ISKA World Martial Arts Championship takes sport karate competition to a whole new level. Hosted at the Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, The US Open facilitates the best of sport karate and grappling competition the world has to offer. Competitors from 42 different countries of all ages, ranks and experience came together to compete July 1-2, 2011 for their shot at a coveted US Open World Martial Arts title. Sanctioned by the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) The US Open also hosts a televised event, the ISKA World Competition, featuring the world’s premier sport karate competitors. In addition to being broadcast on ESPN2 July 22 at 11:30 PM and July 23, 12:00 AM, this year’s event was live on the Internet worldwide on ESPN3.
